This is a collection of some of my preferred works shot during my travels. It covers seven countries, namely: Indonesia, Thailand, India, Kenya, Myanmar, Cambodia and Nepal. This collection was shot over a time span of five years, from 2011 to 2015. Images in the book are displayed in the sequence the countries are listed above. Travelling to far away countries exposes you to new cultures, traditions, a multitude of people and an ocean of colours. I always find myself overwhelmed by the sights, noise, smells and colours of the country visiting. I’m even more touched by the emotions and affects of the locals. Sometimes it feels impossible to capture all of this in a shot. These images are the closest I could get

What does photography mean to Simon? “Photography gives me the opportunity to be creative and it distances me from the logic and rigidity required by my profession as a Certified Accountant. It brings me nearer to people and allows me to share my colourful and joyous person I am" "
