MARTIN GALEA DE GIOVANNI - CARTESIAN COLLAGE ...of a thought process
' What leads humans to their “eureka moments”?
Cartesianism generally refers to Descartes’historical influence on philosophy which formalises all modes of inquiry so that they resemble mathematics and logic. It aims to reduce phenomena to their individual components, and explains wholes by reference to these parts and to their external, measurable relationships.the whole universe begins to look like a complex machine with simple parts all the way to the single atoms.this technique can also be applied to human life in general, and in this project the author dissects a fictitious thought process into its many imaginable stages until that ‘eureka moment’ is reached.'

Born in Malta and inspired by the fluidity of light, Kenneth has been capturing moments for as long as he can remember. He is now translating his inner states and emotions into narrative, deconstructed images and is evermore deeply intrigued by the underlying meanings which
photography can convey. He took part in various collective exhibitions in 2006, 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2015 with other artists involved in different media.
